Jazz Singer
Elissa is a Melbourne-based jazz vocalist, band leader and singing coach. She grew up in rural Victoria and discovered jazz music at the age of 15. This changed her life’s trajectory and she decided it was what she wanted to do with her life.
Elissa then commenced her Bachelor of Music Performance at the Victorian College of the Arts and studied a summer intensive jazz program at New York University. Studying under the tutelage of Michelle Nicole, Lisa Young, Janis Siegel among others.
During her time at university Elissa formed her band, starting as a way to connect as musicians and explore ideas it soon gained attention from audiences around Victoria.
Since then, the band has gone from strength to strength being featured artists in the Melbourne Jazz festival, Mornington Jazz Festival, Ballarat Jazz festival and playing sold out shows at Melbourne Recital Centre and various Jazz clubs around Victoria.
In 2019 Elissa recorded her debut EP ‘True to Love’ at Pughouse studios. They band’s most recent album release ‘UNBOUND’ (2025) is streaming on all platforms now.

Engaged and energetic Vocal Coach and trained mentor with 14+ years of hands-on experience in vocal coaching.
Elissa studied a Bachelor of Music performance (Voice) at the Victorian College of the Arts and hold my Grade 8 AMEB in singing.
Teaching and delivering workshops at many High Schools across Victoria.
Specialising in performance technique, stage presence, safe singing and musical interpretation.
Many years experience in successfully preparing students for VCE music performance, Tertiary education auditions and eisteddfods.
Well organised, excellent communicator and holds a strong desire to encourage a student's love of music in a fun and accessible manner.
Goal orientated coach that is focused on assisting you in achieving whatever your goal may be (recording, auditions, performing, composing etc).
